by Don on 02/14/2020 Had a great time staying at this property. View of the night sky is amazing because this property is far enough from town to not get any light pollution. A 15 minute drive puts you on main street Fredericksburg so everything is well within driving distance. Cabin itself has everything you need and decent phone reception for those who can't cut the cord for a few days. If you love bird watching, there are a few bird feeders within a few feet of the front porch where we saw several cardinals and smaller birds come and go all day long. There is a small fire pit out back for ambiance or s'mores along with a typical state park style grill for burgers or hot dogs. Kitchen comes pretty well stocked with whatever you need. If you're doing some serious cooking then suggest bringing along some larger kitchen knives for preparation since they only have smaller stuff. Bathroom is large with good sized shower and an electric heater/fireplace next to the tub. Be careful as the hot water works extremely well. There are two other cabins on this property, but they're far enough away for privacy. Overall a very nice property. Check in was very easy.

by Valeria on 11/15/2019 The scenery was so beautiful, and having seen deer in the back yard is something that doesn't happen often to me! The place was well kept and the owners and caretaker we're so nice checking up on us. I highly recommend this place if your looking for a getaway with your significant other!

by Sherry on 09/11/2019 What a marvelous cabin in the wonderful "dark sky" wilds of Hill Country. We had an amazing time getting away from it all. We spent our days at Enchanted Rock or visiting local wineries. Evening dinners in Fredericksburg. The cabin was a perfect and luxurious setting, much better than camping in the heat of the summer. The hot tub, comfy bed, wonderful outdoor shower and large, indoor bathroom--such a lovely space. We watched the birds and deer while enjoying our coffee each morning

by Shelly on 08/17/2019 Just far enough from town to feel fully away but close to make a quick grocery store run. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment, outdoor shower is a luxury, hot tub is easy, perfection!

by Judy on 06/17/2019 This cabin has SO many things that makes it “truly special”! The pictures are only a hint of what this place offers. The hot tub is amazing, we used it both nights AND the morning just before leaving. The fire pit is small, but the perfect size for some quick s’mores and a romantic atmosphere. The bath is roomy and the window gives you a hint of the outdoors, not to mention the bathroom is extremely spacious. I was reluctant about the outdoor shower, but it turned out to be one of the best and unique experiences! The bed is a king and it is extremely comfortable, we had no trouble falling asleep after our fun filled days. This cabin is located about 20 minutes from Main, which was perfect for us because we loved being able to get away from the hustle and bustle whenever we wanted and the stars were clear as day! The cabin is sparkly clean corner to corner and there were practically no bugs in or around (I was surprised with how little I saw bugs). WE CANT WAIT to come here in the winter time!
